About Mark

Hi, I’m Mark. I’m a meditation instructor certified by Dharma Moon and Tibet House to teach mindfulness meditation. Beyond certification, my teaching is grounded in more than two decades of personal practice, continued study with teachers, and ongoing participation in meditation communities and retreats.

Like many, my early relationship with meditation was uneven—I understood its value but found it difficult to sustain. That changed when life brought challenges and loss that tested me deeply. In those moments, I turned to meditation which provided resilience and occasional equanimity.

Cultivating mindfulness has fundamentally changed my life. I’ve learned to observe my mind with curiosity instead of being swept away by thought, to feel less distracted, and to be more present in the only moment we truly have: this one.
